The AI Advocacy program is a comprehensive 3-month capacity-building initiative that bridges the gap between traditional human rights advocacy and modern AI technology. Participants will learn to harness the power of artificial intelligence to enhance their documentation, research, communication, and campaign strategies while maintaining ethical standards and human-centered approaches.

Eligibility Requirements
- Professional Background: Minimum 2 years of experience in human rights advocacy, civil society work, or related field
- Geographic Focus: Based in or working within East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia, or Eritrea)
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (program will be conducted in English)
- Technical Requirements: Access to a computer/laptop and stable internet connection
- Time Commitment: Available to participate in 7 hours of program activities per week for 12 weeks
- Organizational Support: Letter of support from current organization or clear plan for implementing learned skills

- Leadership role in human rights organization or initiative
- Experience with digital advocacy tools and social media campaigns
