Human Rights Advocacy

Human Rights Advocacy

Free in Faith:

We collaborate with faith leaders across East Africa to promote inclusion and safety for marginalized groups. By equipping faith leaders and activists with essential tools and knowledge, we support efforts to challenge discrimination and exclusion within religious spaces. Our work directly addresses religious homophobia and biases against sexual and gender minorities in places of worship and faith  communities.

“Fostering an environment of tolerance, respect and inclusion.”

Speaking truth at the intersection of faith and human rights — building understanding, challenging exclusion, and advancing justice in Eastern Africa."
Breaking into the Newsroom.

We trian journalists and community reporters in Uganda to cover human rights topics ethically and confidently, especially those neglected by mainstream media. By tracking press freedoms and analyzing the media landscape, we inform our training and advocate for an independent press. We monitor coverage, highlight restrictive laws, and promote ethical, inclusive reporting to counter media repression and support democracy.

"A strong media that  upholds human rights encourages inclusivity and ensures accountability among leaders."

Eco Justice:

Through films and murals, we visually highlight climate change and its urgency. We empower advocates to document, inform, and promote sustainable, community-driven solutions. Blending creative expression with frontline voices, we reveal both harm and resilience to inspire action.

Campaigns and Advocacy:

Our campaigns bring crucial issues into the public eye, mobilize collective action, and help drive meaningful changes by demanding accountability from authorities to address injustices, we advocate for reforms and ensure that diverse voices are heard, and that policies reflect a broad range of perspectives. We are encouraging informed debate and support active participation; our efforts lay the groundwork for an inclusive society where fairness and equality are a priority.
