Our Breaking into the Newsroom program works works hand in hand with journalists to promote freedom of expression, protect press freedom, and defend the rights of journalists around the world. The aim of this project is to create a safe and enabling environment for journalists to carry out their vital work in uncovering truths, amplifying voices, and holding power accountable.
Our program is rooted in the belief that a free and independent press is the cornerstone of any democratic society.
