Across Uganda and many parts of the world, faith remains a powerful force shaping how communities understand dignity, belonging, and identity. Yet too often, scripture is misused to justify exclusion, fear, and too silence LGBTIQ persons.
This comic was created to open conversations grounded in knowledge, compassion, and radical inclusivity.
Inspired by the teachings shared during our religious leaders’ training for more than half a grounded in deeper understanding of inclusion. This visual story invites communities to reflect on what true faith looks like when it embraces all God’s children.
Through Bruce’s journey, we explore the pain of exclusion, the search for safety, the power of the pulpit, and the beauty of belonging. It is a tool for healing, learning, and transformation.
